OCTOPUS ROBOTS: The British Museum selects Octopus Robots for an exhibition on the health crisis linked to antimicrobial resistance

Octopus Robots, an AgTech(1) biosafety pioneer, is delighted to announce that it has been selected by the British Museum Committee to participate in the current exhibition at the prestigious museum, entitled “Superbugs: The Fight For Our Lives”, on view since 9 November 2017.

This exhibition aims to highlight the increasingly reduced efficiency of antibiotics in the face of evolving bacteria, underscoring one of the most important health issues for humans in the coming years: the rise of antimicrobial resistance.

The programme selected by the British Museum is based on a journey from the microscopic to the human scale. With respect to the latter, the British Museum has decided to present innovations that allow us to fight antimicrobial resistance, including the Octopus Poultry Safe robot successfully developed by Octopus Robots.

The exhibition will continue until 17 May 2019; it is part of a global Science Museum project that will be available for all museums around the world. Many initiatives are planned on social media and blogs to promote this event.

We are very proud to have been selected by the British Museum to participate in an essential exhibition on a key public health challenge for the entire world. This bears witness to the relevance of our innovations and the importance of the markets we address,” said Olivier Somville, CEO of Octopus Robots
