HYUNDAI EXTENDS ITS PARTNERSHIP WITH OLYMPIQUE LYONNAIS UNTIL 2020
GROUPAMA STADIUM WILL HOST A FRANCE/USA FRIENDLY ON 9 JUNE, AHEAD OF THE 2018 WORLD CUP

On Sunday, 17 December 2017, a few hours before the kick-off of the 19th Ligue 1 matchday fixture against Olympique de Marseille, Chairman and CEO Jean-Michel Aulas officialised an extension of the partnership with Korean carmaker Hyundai Motor until 2020.
The official signing took place in the Board room of Groupama Stadium. Mr Aulas was accompanied by Kyoobok Lee, his Korean counterpart at Hyundai Motor, and the CEO of Hyundai Motor France, Lionel French Keogh.
Mr Aulas was very pleased that the partnership initiated six years ago will continue: "I am both happy and proud of this two-year extension, because this is an exemplary partnership with a major global group.”
Lionel French Keogh, CEO of Hyundai Motor France, also expressed his satisfaction: “We are delighted with the quality of the relationship we have had with OL and its chairman over the past six years. This renewal until 2020 testifies to Hyundai's strong presence in football. We are partners in the World Cup and with OL we will be able to be a major player in French football.”
On 14 December 2017, the French Football Federation officialised the schedule of friendlies the French national team will play before the 2018 World Cup in Russia. Groupama Stadium has been chosen to host the friendly between France and United States on Saturday, 9 June 2018 at 9 pm.
