Carrere on Joost

Carrere Group (Euronext: CAR, www.carreregroup.com), one of the leading independent content producers and distributors in Europe founded by Claude Carrere, and Joost™ (www.joost.com), the world's first broadcast-quality Internet television service, announced today that Carrere Group will offer some of its audiovisual content to consumers on the innovative Joost distribution platform. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The global deal will allow Joost users to have free access to thousands of programs and channels not readily available on the Web. Through Joost, viewers can watch programming from many of Carrere's programs on their computers through a customizable platform with advanced television viewing features.

While commenting on the deal, Romain Carrere, Director of Development for Carrere Group, said, “The Joost platform gives us the opportunity to generate additional distribution revenues by offering our content to another support, thus enhancing the value of our catalogue of audiovisual rights”.
